Three more people in Thiruvananthapuram confirmed with Zika virus

Minister Veena George has said that three more people in the state have been diagnosed with the Zika virus. Thiruvananthapuram Anayara natives aged 26 and 37 and Pettah resident (25) were diagnosed with the virus.

The virus was confirmed in a test conducted at the virology lab of the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College. With this, a total of 41 people in the state have been diagnosed with the Zika virus. There are currently 5 patients. The health department said in a press release that the health condition of all was satisfactory.
