The KSRTC has reinstated driver S Jayadeep who was suspended for driving a bus through a flooded road and causing a loss of Rs 5.30 lakh. The KSRTC issued the order reinstating Jayadeep as his suspension period came to an end.
Jayadeep, who was a driver in Erattupetta, has been transferred to Guruvayur depot as part of disciplinary action. Jayadeep was suspended from service for allegedly endangering the lives of passengers by driving the bus through a flooded road last October. Police had also registered a case against Jayadeep for destroying public property.
